Frequently Asked Questions

1. What kind of treatment do you do?

We do both chiropractic and physical therapy techniques that address bones, muscles, and nerves. We adjust with both cracking and non-cracking techniques to mobilize, align, and get you out of pain. We also do intersegmental traction to open the spaces in your vertebrae and relax the spine. Additionally, we do e-stim (similar to a tens unit) to calm the nerves. We incorporate exercises and stretches to relax the muscles. We also have you send us a picture of your desk set-up to make sure we help your posture at work.

2. What if I don’t want to be cracked?

No problem! We have non-cracking techniques to mobilize and align the spine that are just as effective as cracking.

3. What do x-rays show?

They help figure out the “why” to your problem. You can have issues in your spine that have been there for years, and they can get bad enough to cause pain like sciatica, disc issues, headaches, and more. Once Dr. J looks at the x-rays, he can work on fixing the structure while also working on your pain to make sure the problem does not come back

4. How long will it take to get better?

We are not a cookie-cutter practice. Everyone gets a customized treatment plan with a start and a finish. We want to make sure we get you out of pain, make sure we fix the “why” that we saw in the x-rays, and get you back to doing the things you love, like running, sleeping and exercising, pain-free.

5. Do you take my insurance?

We take most insurances but every plan has a different deductible and coverage. Please give us a call at 212-582-1122 to see what your benefits are.

6. If I do not have insurance, do you have payment plans to spread out the cost of care?

Yes, we have interest-free payment plans to spread out the cost of treatment over a bunch of months so you can get the care you need.

7. Can you see me today?
